People of EarnIn: Joseph Monnich

Meet another one of our community members, Joseph Monnich! Joseph has been part of the EarnIn community for a couple years now. He’s focused on continuing to provide for his family and getting to a better financial place debt free. Here’s his story:

“I'd love to run my own company. I've worn a lot of hats in my past, so I've done a lot of different jobs and things like that. I'd also love to get back into school and maybe get another degree. I love to learn everything and the more you learn, the more you know. But with family and stuff, it's really hard to balance it all. I don't want to jump into it and then get overwhelmed and fail because I'd rather fail at the school than fail my family.

Family is always number one. I have a two year old and an 11 year old. If you don't have family, you have nothing. You always want to provide more for them. We always want to give them the most they can get. Right now, my wife and I have been talking about projects around our house. We know we'd love to move, but financially that's not an option so we're looking at how to make this home a better fit for us.

Like most people in the world, we have debt and my goal right now is to try to eliminate that. I'd rather have my paychecks work for me than me work for my paycheck. There are times when we, as most families, live paycheck to paycheck and things happen. And you need that little boost that'll get you over to that next paycheck to bridge you. EarnIn has been there. I appreciate it greatly, community-based assistance.”
