These EarnIn Card Waitlist Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the EarnIn Card waitlist program (“Waitlist”) administered by EarnIn (“EarnIn,” “we,” or “us”). By joining the Waitlist, you agree to these Terms and to EarnIn’s
General Terms and Conditions and
Privacy Policy.
1. Overview of the Waitlist Program
The Waitlist allows users to potentially receive early access to the EarnIn Card, issued by Evolve Bank & Trust (“Evolve”), pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A., Inc.
The EarnIn Card is currently not available in:
Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.. State availability is subject to change. For the latest list of states where the EarnIn Card is not available, see
here.
If you are selected from the Waitlist, live in a state where the EarnIn Card is currently offered, have an EarnIn account, complete the required onboarding steps (including receiving a Qualifying Direct Deposit), and meet other eligibility criteria, you may receive early access to the EarnIn Card.
Joining the Waitlist does
not guarantee access to the EarnIn Card. Access to and use of the EarnIn Card is also subject to the
EarnIn Cardholder Agreement, which includes additional eligibility requirements, repayment terms, and use restrictions.
2. Eligibility to Join the Waitlist
To join the Waitlist, you must:
Be at least 18 years old;
Have a valid Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number; and
Primarily reside in a U.S. state where the EarnIn Card is currently offered.
You will need to create an EarnIn account to join the Waitlist and complete onboarding steps to be considered for early access. Access is subject to verification and other internal eligibility reviews.
3. How the Waitlist Works and How to Advance
Your position on the Waitlist is based on:
The number of onboarding steps you complete; and
The time at which you joined the Waitlist.
Users who complete more steps are ranked higher. Among users with the same number of completed steps, earlier joiners are ranked ahead. Your position may be displayed in the EarnIn app and may change as others join or progress.
To move up the Waitlist, complete the following steps: (1) add your work details (2) open a deposit account with one of EarnIn’s banking partners,
Evolve Bank & Trust or
Lead Bank (“Deposit Account”); and (3) connect a Qualifying Direct Deposit and receive it in that Deposit Account. Each Deposit Account is subject to specific eligibility requirements and is not available in Washington D.C. or Connecticut. .
A Qualifying Direct Deposit is a recurring direct deposit of income, such as a paycheck, made by your employer or payroll provider into your Deposit Account. It does not include peer-to-peer transfers (like PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo), bank transfers, ACH credits from financial institutions, mobile check deposits, trial or verification deposits, cash deposits, or one-time payments such as tax refunds.
To be eligible for the EarnIn Card, you must receive regular monthly Qualifying Direct Deposits into your Deposit Account based on your pay frequency, as follows: if you are paid weekly, each paycheck must be at least $250; if paid biweekly, each paycheck must be at least $500; and if paid monthly, each paycheck must be at least $1,000.
4. No Guarantee of Access or Order
Being on the Waitlist does not guarantee that you will receive access to the EarnIn Card. Access may be granted in batches at EarnIn’s sole discretion and primarily based on the Waitlist rank, though EarnIn may make exceptions at its discretion due to operational, compliance, or business needs.
6. Modifications and Termination
EarnIn may modify, suspend, or terminate the Waitlist or these Terms at any time and for any reason, with or without prior notice. Continued participation after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EarnIn is not responsible for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your participation in the Waitlist or reliance on your displayed rank. Participation is at your own risk, and EarnIn does not guarantee uninterrupted access to your Waitlist status or the EarnIn Card.
